  the last spot works for me, but when i open the chest, i never get the transformation, 2 times no transformation.

    you need to chase the skritt runner and keep hitting him to get transformed

    4 time, nothing i neer got the teletransformation 🙁

      In my experience with all the skritt achievements : in 5 tries only once he did nothing at all, you may have some really bad luck or are you using a pet or clones in the fight ? Those should be avoided so he target only you. Also one time the only thing he did was to transform a random aggressive npc who was near.

        2 characters, 1 guardian, 2 warrior, no pet, no clones i was jue me alone, no other players, so im waiting for the 5. ty for the reply

  I’ve checked and camped both locations with no luck. So deciding to work on something else I went to fireheart rise and found the chest with the skrit burglar! Unfortunately after kiting me across hundreds of yards he decided to run into a champion event that was nearby and the mobs killed him. I got exp but the DE registered as fail so no reward for me.

      I was kinda starting to think that aswell… If they only move to another location then someone probably hasnt found it on my server cuz it’s not on those two locations.

        i checked 3 spot with diff characters, possible more locations, or isnt move to another location.

          Been checking the 4 spots mentioned here several times now and still nothing.. Either there are more locations or maybe it’s bugged? 😛

  I didn’t find any chests at the locations posted above nor at the one in Onager Bivouac (Fireheart Rise).\ Guess there have to be more spots.

  No one else had any luck finding the chest at another location?\ I’ve been farming those 4 spots as soon as they were known without any luck at all.

  I don’t have a screen shot; But a friend and I have found a chest in Plains of Ashford in the Toppled Wall area, Northeast of the AC dungeon entrance. There are two tunnels parallel to each other. One filled with Skelk, and the other with Ghosts. When entering the tunnel on the right (the one full of ghosts) there will be a Rich Copper Vein, and (hopefully) a chest. When approaching, a veteran ghost and a ghostly peasant will spawn and talk for a moment before saying “We’re under assault!” and attack you. The Skritt will then run from that tunnel, to the tunnel to the west filled with Skelk.

  I used the chest at location #2, but didn’t receive the achievement update.

  Fail 2 times at chest location #4 (never transformed) but first try at the bivouac in fireheart Rise and transformed ! 🙂

  i went to all these locations, and found no chests.\ i think there is more locations,,,

  I saw came across the skritt burglar in Burrows of Moledavia in Diessa Plateau today. At least I think I did. Was busy killing Drege (doing the area for world completion) and as I ran out came across a loot bag like you get at the end of the event and when I ran back and found the purple glowy loot bags. The reason I recognised this was I did all 4 of the achievements yesterday with some guild mates. We really struggled with this one as we were going to all the locations listed in the post, the comments and the wiki, but couldn’t find the chest. It took 1.5 hrs to spawn in a known location. Maybe others can check this out and confirm it.

  I have found 3 times until now the chest and all 3 times he not transform me into a raccoon and i really start to get annoyed does anyone else have this problem?

  Verified location 5 at Plains of Ashford – chest was there, was able to open, but a new player charr killed it before it could transform me.

  for all, who find chest, but did not get achiev: after open chest ans skrit run away, attack him, and as skritt run away, he sometimes throw daggers (or what it is), and this attack MUST HIT YOU to transform you in to creature! if you dodge it or did not get hit, you did not get achiev (correct me if I am wrong, but this work for me)

  hint: if you’re a guardian and block/retaliate the damage he deals on you, you won’t get transformed. better switch to an alt or change your traits if you want to get it done. if you’re lvl 80 i suggest doing it half naked, or without trinkets at least
